Who we Are
Our membership is made up of riders from The American Legion family. We meet the first Saturday of every month at 10:30AM and ride afterwards.
We support our Post, our Veterans, and our community with fundraising events throughout the year. These events include:
Charity Fundraising Rides
Annual events that supports a multitude of Programs and Charities of the American Legion Riders.
Funeral Escorts
We provide motorcycle escorts for Veterans and their families to National Cemeteries, when requested by their families. This year we have provided escorts several times.
Octoberfest Ride
An new Event (replaces the Hams n Hogs Ride) to be held each year, prior to Thanksgiving to support the Veterans Coalition Food Pantry to ensure any Veteran in need has food.
Wreaths For Fallen Heroes
We partner with IR-RU in raising money to purchase wreaths and remembering our fallen Veterans by placing those wreaths on grave sites at Bushnell National Cemetery during the Holiday season. This ride takes place the Sunday before Christmas
Various Ride Events
We participate with several organizations each a year to help raise funds for the American Legion, our Post, child welfare, the homeless, the needy and Veteran related programs.
